The rooster is Tori in Japanese, associated with the phrase – 'taking in'. People believe the year of rooster, which is an oriental zodiac sign, could mean success in businesses because the rooster takes in good fortune and more customers.
As it's the rooster year, we are making rooster carvings while wishing that everyone will spend the year peacefully and safely.

Repose doll

Tell the repose doll "I'm going" when you go out and "I'm home" when you come back. Why don't you stroke and talk to the doll and recall your day. The doll will make you calm down when you feel sad or irritated.
The reason why the doll is round is to be easily stroked for those wishing to mellow out.
Using wood from the camphor tree (which is Saga prefectures tree) when you stroke more, the doll will turn a deeper color and due to the nature of the wood, no two dolls of the same color exist.
